Studies for a family house

Our mission as architects for this project is to deliver comprehensive architectural studies for a local architecture and engineer office Tabakh and Co, developing design solutions that seamlessly integrate earth construction methods with contemporary living standards. The proposed project utilizes compressed earth bricks and typha-adobe “ceiling-hourdis” construction techniques to create structures that provide modern comfort while maintaining a minimalist and compact architectural expression.

Central to our approach is the careful consideration of bio-climatic design principles, ensuring that each building responds intelligently to local climate conditions through passive solar design, natural ventilation strategies, and thermal mass optimization. By combining the inherent sustainability of earth-based materials with thoughtful spatial planning and environmental responsiveness, we aim to demonstrate that traditional construction methods can achieve both ecological responsibility and contemporary lifestyle requirements.
